Six Martin Residents Arrested On Drug Charges

Martin, Tenn.—Six people were arrested on drug charges after the Weakley Co. Sheriff’s Office executed search warrants at two apartments within the same complex in Martin.
On Oct. 15, investigators from the Weakley County Sheriff’s Department assisted by officers from the Martin Police Department and the Tennessee Highway Patrol executed two search warrants in the Beaumont Street Apartments at the same time.
In one apartment, methamphetamine, what is believed to be heroin, marijuana, pills and drug paraphernalia including digital scales, pipes, baggies and needles were found.
Anthony Brasfield, 49, Tamara Starr Rogers, 38, Terrance Lee Coleman, 34, and Ashley J. Ruark, 23, all of Martin, were charged with possession of Schedule II methamphetamine with intention of resale and possession of drug paraphernalia. More charges could be brought after the drugs are tested by the TBI crime lab, according to Sheriff’s Capt. Randall McGowan.
In the other apartment, methamphetamine and marijuana and drug paraphernalia were found and Anthony Wayne Lee, 41, and Shakira Starr Bryant, 40, were both charged with possession of Schedule II meth, possession of Schedule VI marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
