Paris, Tenn.–13 may be an unlucky number, but for the Downtown Paris Association, it’s a lucky number indeed.
The 13th annual Spooktacular in downtown Paris Saturday drew a whopping 4,500 people–the largest number ever to attend one of the Halloween events.
DPA Executive Director Kathy Ray said, “We were so happy to see all those smiling faces in our downtown. We partnered with the Lions’ and Leos’ Clubs, like we have the last couple of years, and we had so many good activities for everyone. There were 20 booths this year and we had them spread all over the court square. The games we had were really active and fun, with golfing, bowling, musical chairs–just a bunch of good things for people to do.”
Downtown was crowded with people of all ages wearing a large variety of imaginative costumes and costume contests were held for different age groups all through the event.
“Everything was just perfect,” Ray said.
