Paris and Union City, Tenn.–The early voting total in Henry Co. on Wednesday was a whopping 671, which includes the early voting in the nursing homes and absentee voting.
In Obion Co., the total was 508, which includes 444 in person, 38 absentee and 26 from the nursing homes.
Both Henry Co. Elections Administrator DeLaina Green and Obion Co. Administrator Leigh Ann Schlager reported voting was steady all day.
Early voting continues through November 1. The general election will be held Nov. 6.
In both counties, early voting is conducted at the elections commission offices: in Henry Co., it is located at the courthouse annex on W. Washington St. in Paris. and in Obion Co., it is at 308 Bill Burnett Circle in Union City.
