Guthrie, Ky.—Guthrie Police Chief Matthew Humble passed away at 6:15 p.m. in the comfort of his home after losing his battle with cancer. He had previously served the citizens of Marshall County as an officer with the Calvert City Police.
In a Facebook post, officers with the Guthrie Police said, “He will be forever missed and loved in our great community. Please keep his family and friends in your hearts and continue to pray for them all. Rest In Peace Chief. We will take it from here, brother.”
