Mayfield, Ky.–West Kentucky Rural Electric has sent a second five-man crew to assist with storm restoration. The second crew is headed to Grady EMC in Cairo, GA. Officials said, “We are pleased to be able to help Grady, one of the many cooperatives who came to help us during the ice storm in 2009.”
Meanwhile, the first crew sent out by West Kentucky Rural Electric is now helping Southside Electric Cooperative in Crewe, Virginia.
The crew in Virginia is working hard to restore service to co-op members where Hurricane Michael passed through, leaving behind lots of damage and plenty of flooding. West Kentucky Rural Electric photo.
