Paris, Tenn.–The Paris Henry County Community Band will resume rehearsals October 25th at 6:30 pm. The Community Band has “partnered” with Lee Academy for the Arts, located at 402 Lee Street in Paris. Rehearsals will be held in the former lunch room at the rear of the building.
The 2nd rehearsal will be October 29th. Same time & location. More rehearsals to come.
The rehearsals are in preparation for two performances: the Veterans Day Celebration on at 2 pm November 10 at KPAC and a Christmas Concert coming in December.
Band Director Mike Holden said, “It isn’t too late to join the band. All you need is band experience. It doesn’t matter how long you’ve “laid off” your horn. We have instruments to loan.”
The Paris Henry County Chamber Music Society is a nonprofit organization and is always in need of funds for music, equipment & operating expenses.
