Huge Crowd At Atkins-Porter Neighborhood Fall Festival

Paris, Tenn.–Little Jernigan Harris sees what it’s like in the pilot’s chair of an Air Evac helicopter while Base Line Pilot John Munson looks on at Saturday’s Atkins-Porter Neighborhood Fall Festival. Hundreds attended the all-day free festival, which included K-9 demonstrations from Sheriff Monte Belew and Si and Sgt. Wayne Fugua and Adora, all of whom participated in the recent manhunt in Stewart Co. There was plenty to do all day, with the sheriff’s department grilling hot dogs, cake walks, arts and crafts vendors, games, demonstrations by Air Evac, Paris Police, Paris Fire Department, National Guard, Henry County EMS, the Birds of Prey from Paris Landing State Park. Booths were set up by the health department, Youth Villages, Bethel University and more. In other photos, Belew, Captain Adam Jenkins and Si; Sgt. Fuqua with Adora; and cake walking.
