Henry School Opens Little Free Library; Total In Henry County Grows To 11

Henry, Tenn.–Henry School has added another lending library to Henry County, now bringing the total of little libraries in the county to 11.
The new “Pirate Lending Library” is located at the front entrance of Henry School.  It was made possible by a recently received Plus Endowment grant. Henry Principal David Kibbler said, “I am excited that Henry School will have books available to the children of Henry after school hours and on the weekends. Books may be borrowed and returned once they are read. We will do our best to ensure that we offer a variety of book choices and that we rotate the books on a regular basis so that the community has access to fresh choices.”
Kibbler said, “On behalf of Henry School and the Henry community, I would like to thank the Plus Endowment for their continued support of projects such as this”.
Other Little Free Libraries are located at the Henry County Health Department, Ogburn Park, McNeill Park, the Church in Paris, and Henry Baptist Church (all of those were purchased through a health department grant). And there five other Little Free Libraries elsewhere in Paris that had been placed there by other agencies and groups: one outside of the Atkins-Porter Recreation Center in Paris which was installed by the Atkins-Porter Neighborhood Association; and others at Cash Savers, Eagle Food Store and Eiffel Tower Park, all in Paris, which were placed there by the W.G. Rhea Library. Plus, one at the entrance of Grove School in Paris, placed there by the school.
