Hard At Work On Another Shelter At Eiffel Tower Park

Paris, Tenn.–Paris Parks and Recreation employee Jay Hosford was hard at work Wednesday afternoon on building a permanent shelter connected to the concession stand at Eiffel Tower Park. Parks Director Tony Lawrence said the permanent overhang will provide space for people to sit and eat or just sit to get out of the sun or rain. “It will be a nice feature for people getting refreshments out of the concession stand during flag football but it’s also a nice place to sit and just get out of the weather.” The Parks Department also will begin work soon on redoing the interior of the public restrooms that are adjacent to Joe Houston field.
