By Shannon McFarlin WENK/WTPR News Director
Indian Mound, Tenn.—Law enforcement is tightening the perimeter and have established a new perimeter in the continuing manhunt for accused murderer and arsonist Kirby Wallace this morning as a call was received of what officers are now calling a credible sighting of the suspect.

Montgomery County Sheriff’s officials say a call was received overnight from the 4000 block of Poplar Springs Rd. of a man attempting to enter a porch with a gun and that the man then ran into the woods.

The sheriff’s office has also been receiving new calls about suspicious activity in that area. They said they have established a second search perimeter in that area.

Meanwhile, officials are requesting that residents that have game or trail cameras in the areas of Seven Mile Ridge, Hayes Ridge Road, Moore Hollow Road, and Honey Fork Hollow Road check those cameras for anything that might be helpful in locating this subject. Please only do so if you can do so safely. If you would like assistance when checking the cameras that can likely be provided. Anyone who may have captured photographs of Kirby Wallace is urged to call the Stewart County Emergency Communication Center at 931-233-5322 option 1.
