Union City, Tenn.–The Union City High School Art Club and the UC cross country teams participated in the recently-held CornFest Chalk Art Contest with great success.
The Art Club swept the competition, with Makaily Thomason placing first, Jaelane Ortiz-Mata coming in second and Wade Clendenin third in the high school division.
The cross country team ran from the school campus to the Obion County Public Library venue, made their drawings and then returned to school.
