Union City, Tenn.—Our own Brent Hinson was co-emcee along with Miss Tennessee Christine Williamson for the Obion County CornFest Fashion Show Monday night and he did look smooth. The fashion show was held at Discovery Park of America and was just one of the events being held this week for CornFest.
The Pride of Obion County banquet will be held at noon Wednesday at the Venue at Center Point.
The rest of the week includes a free concert Thursday, September 20, by Roger Day, plus free pizza and coca-cola, beginning with the Chalk Art contest at 3 p.m., all at the Obion Co. Library.
And Saturday is the big day, with events centering in Kiwanis Park. There will be Family Day at the Park, cornbread cook-off, cornhole tournament, Pets in the Park and bed races. Keep watch on our website or log on to the Obion County CornFest Facebook page or website for details.
