Kayla Nation Elected Paris Quota President

Paris, Tenn.—Kayla Nation was elected President of the Paris Quota Club, with President-Elect Elizabeth Craig, and Vice-President Jill Snow. The other members of the new board of directors was also announced at last week’s meeting: Recording Secretary Martha McFadden; Corresponding Secretary Linda Foulks; Treasurer Brenda Hosford; Assistant Treasurer Carol Mannon; Parliamentarian Mary Kathryn Moore; and Directors Donna Winders, Geraldine Sykes, Gina Olds, DeLaina Green and Denise Evans.
Kayla’s theme for the coming year is “Mission Possible” and she presented each officer with a “Mission Possible” packet containing a magnifying glass, flashlight, note pads and mints.
 
Celebrating Quota Anniversaries are Mary Kathryn Moore with 27 years and Jill Caldwell with 3 years; for a total of 30 years of service.
 
Jill Snow passed around a paper for members to sign up for the Text Tree so they may be notified regarding future Quota meetings and special Quota events.
 
Kathryn Moore had papers at each place to sign up for the number of bags/cases of pecans they want to sell.   Pecans will be $12 for halves, pieces and specialty bags.
 
Quota’s in-house auction will be at the next meeting on September 26th.  There will be plants, home décor, cakes, casseroles and much more with Geraldine as the auctioneer.  Proceeds go for club operations.
 
Hog Killin’ will be at 6pm on Tuesday, October 16th at Lee Academy.  Elvis impersonator, Riley
Jenkins (Norma Steele’s great grandson) will be the entertainment.
