Three Arrested On Drugs, Weapons Charges

 
Mayfield, Ky. – A Fulton man and a couple from Mayfield were arrested on a variety of drug and weapons charges as a result of an ongoing burglary investigation by the Kentucky State Police.
The KSP has been investigating a burglary of a residence in Water Valley since September 6.   During the investigation, KSP learned some of the stolen firearms were at a residence in Hickman County.  On September 14, the KSP was able to obtain a search warrant for the residence and recovered one of the stolen firearms.
KSP Trooper Brian Luckett arrested Brandon R. Davis, 35 of Fulton, KY and charged him with; Receiving Stolen Property-firearm, Trafficking in a Controlled Substance 1st degree greater than 2 grams Methamphetamine, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.   Davis was lodged in the Fulton County Jail.
KSP also conducted a search warrant in Mayfield, KY in relation to the burglary investigation.  Trooper Aaron Jestes arrested Ashley D. Dixon, 22 of Mayfield, KY and charged her with; Trafficking in a Controlled Substance 1st degree greater than 2 grams Methamphetamine, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.  Trooper Brian Luckett also arrested Derek F. Brown, 35 of Mayfield, KY and charged him with; Trafficking in a Controlled Substance 1st degree greater than 2 grams Methamphetamine, Possession of a Handgun by a Convicted Felon, Tampering with Physical Evidence, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.   Both Brown and Dixon were lodged in the Graves County Jail.
 
KSP was assisted by the Graves County Sheriff’s Office, Mayfield Police Department, and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives.  Trooper Luckett is continuing his investigation.  Several firearms are still missing from the burglary.  Anyone with information is asked to contact the Kentucky State Police Post 1 at 270-856-3721 or anonymously at 1-800-222-5555.  Citizens may also report tips anonymously through the KSP app.
