Dover, Tenn.—A Big Rock man was arrested on drug charges after Stewart Co. deputies found marijuana plants that had grown to three to four feet tall at his home.
Deputies had gone to the residence in the 200 block of Walker Ridge Rd. Tuesday evening seeking a woman who was wanted for aggravated assault and attempted murder following a Stewart Co. stabbing.
Deputies arrested Michael Edward Hollingsworth, age 58, on a charge of manufacturing a controlled substance.
New Sheriff Frankie Gray said the officers found six or seven plants at the residence after they detected an odor. The plants were growing behind the house.
