Henry, Tenn.—It’s time for the Henry Pioneer Day, the annual fundraiser for the Henry Volunteer Fire Department.
The event will be held all day Saturday, Sept. 15, and will include a number of activities beginning with the parade and ending with fireworks at night. A new activity has been added—hog wrestling.
The parade will begin at 10 a.m. through town and then the activities move to the Civic Center and park grounds where there will be a cake walk, fish dinners, bingo, kids’ games, a Jaws of Life demo at 1 p.m. and SWAG wrestling at 7 p.m. The sign-ups for the hog wrestling are at noon, with the event at 1 p.m.
