Big Sandy, Tenn.–Using the new Auto Tour of the Old 23rd District, Linda Fields, a volunteer with the Friends of the Tennessee National Wildlife Refuge, explains where several families resided before the area became part of the refuge. The hayride/tour was part of a fundraiser hosted by the Friends of the TNWR that included dinner at the Old 23rd Restaurant at Christopher Manor, live music and a silent auction.
