It's Homecoming Week In Union City Schools

By Mike Hutchens UC Schools Communications Director
Union City, Tenn.–It’s Homecoming Week at Union City High School.

Students have and will continue to participate in a number of activities to celebrate the occasion, including “dress-up” theme days each day.

From “Country or Country Club,” to “What I want to be when I grow up,” to “Decades Day,” both students and some faculty have been creative in choosing their attire for each designated day.

Friday will be celebrated as “Crazy School Spirit Day.”

Seniors will take part in the annual Senior Walk Friday morning and will also eat breakfast to begin the day.

The traditional Homecoming Parade is set for 3 p.m. Friday, with the procession to begin on First Street downtown.

A queen will be crowned at halftime of the Golden Tornadoes’ football game against Oakhaven. Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m.
