Union City, Tenn.—The inaugural Obion County Central High School Hall of Fame induction ceremony and banquet will be held at 6 p.m. Saturday, September 15, at the school.
For the first year of the Hall of Fame, the following former athletes will be honored: Rosemary Thompson (Coleman), William Thompson, Jerry McCullough, Clint Edmiston, Elvin Hatch, Charles Akers, Charlie Wilson, Hayes Flippen, John Robert McCullough, Cannon Whitby, Robin Cude, Jill Konkel.
Tickets are $20 and can be purchased at the September 7 and 14 football games and at the door.
Organizers hope to make this an annual event to honor the school’s athletes. Those honored will be introduced to the crowd during half-time at the September 14 game versus Ripley.
