Martin, Tenn.–The 25th Anniversary Tennessee Soybean Festival is underway in downtown Martin and the week-long festival is jam-packed with activities, including performances by top entertainers including Larry Gatlin and the Gatlin Brothers, .38 Special, Gretchen Wilson, Big and Rich and Foreigner.
Activities from September 1-9 will include the carnival, street fair, sidewalk sales, moonlight carriage rides, pet show, and a community meal. Most of the activities are free. On Sunday, the Gatlin Brothers will be part of the Soybean Sundown Concert and Fireworks spectacular held at 7 p.m. And it’s free.
Concerts will include: Monday, Sesame Street Live; Tuesday, Frankie Valli Tribute; Wednesday, Jackson Symphony; Thursday, Switchfoot; Friday, .38 Special and Foreigner; Saturday, Gretchen Wilson and Big and Rich.
Special events will include the free community meal in the in the park at 5 p.m. Friday.
