Paris, Tenn.—The Rev. Larry Simmons, Executive Pastor of First Baptist Church in Paris, was honored Sunday with the Loyal Patriot Award, the highest honor that can be bestowed in Henry County. County Mayor Brent Greer presented Simmons with the honor at the church in recognition of Simmons’ service to the community and for his retirement after 18 years. Simmons’ wife, Debbie, also received a Loyal Patriot Award on Monday night for her lengthy service as the county administrative assistant.
