Wrong Time To Make A Phone Call For Suspects

Gleason, Tenn.—It was the wrong time to make a phone call for three people who were nabbed Monday by the Weakley County Sheriff’s Office while deputies were executing a search warrant.

Investigators executed the search warrant at a house on Old Hwy. 22 between Gleason and McKenzie near New Valley Road and recovered over one-half ounce of crystal meth along with several sets of digital scales, a loaded 308 caliber rifle and meth pipes.

Deputies arrested James Matthew Hall, age 43, and charged him with possession of meth with intent to sell, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony.

After investigators arrived back at the sheriff’s office, Hall’s cell phone began to ring.

Investigators answered the phone, pretending to be Hall and arranged a sale of meth to Taja Allen, age 21, of Greenfield. A meeting was set up at a convenience store in Dresden and deputies arrested Allen, Sabrina Rickets, age 32, of Bradford, and Brianna O’Callaghan, age 25 of Martin.

They were arrested on charges of criminal attempt to possess meth and possession of drug paraphernalia. A small amount of meth was also found in the car the three suspects were in.

More charges may be filed in the case.
