Lexington, Tenn.—The Paris man who was sought by Paris Police and the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation for a shooting at Crestview Manor over the weekend has been captured in Lexington.

Paris Police Captain Ricky Watson told WENK/WTPR Wednesday evening that Gerald Dolberry, age 31, was captured at a home in Lexington in the afternoon by the TBI and the Fugitive Task Force, which is part of the U.S. Marshal’s Service Task Force. Dolberry was reportedly captured at a home on Weaver Street.

TBI Public Information Officer Josh DeVine said Wednesday night that agencies participating in the arrest included the TBI, U.S. Marshal’s Service, Gulf Coast Regional Fugitive Task Force, Lexington Police, Jackson Police and Henderson County Sheriff’s Office.

“Investigative efforts led authorities to that location today,” he said.

DeVine said Dolberry currently is being held in the Henderson Co. Jail.

Dolberry was placed on the TBI’s Top 10 Most Wanted List earlier this week. He was wanted on two counts of criminal attempt to commit first-degree murder for the shooting of a man at the apartment complex over the weekend. The man was treated at Henry County Medical Center.
