Fans Can Own Piece Of HCHS Gamlin Gym Floor

Paris, Tenn.–With renovations taking place at Henry County High School, the Henry County community has the opportunity to own a piece of the historic Fred J. Gamlin Memorial Gymnasium floor. Contractors worked last week to remove the flooring in preparation for a new floor being laid before the 2018-19 basketball season. Pieces of the original floor, which has been part of Gamlin Gym since opening in 1969, are now available. Floor pieces will be sold in pieces of 2 parkay squares by 2 parkay squares (approximately 1 foot by 1 foot) for $20. Pieces will be sold on a first-come, first-served basis at the HCHS Main Office (currently located in E building) between the hours of 9am – 2pm. Special size orders will be considered. For more information, please contact HCHS at 642-5232.
