Huntingdon, Tenn.–The Shepherd’s Table will be holding its next supper on Tuesday, August 21st, at the First Presbyterian Church, located at 19835 E. Main Street in Huntingdon.
Dining will begin promptly at 5:15 pm and the kitchen will be open until 6:45 pm. Anyone hungry or seeking fellowship for a meal is invited.
The Shepherd’s Table is a Community Kitchen created by the members, volunteers and friends of the First Presbyterian Church of Huntingdon. Lead by Chairman and church member, David Ray Carter, the group achieves its mission each month of feeding all that come through the door.
Everyone that attends The Shepherd’s Table is treated as a guest and served restaurant style. Guests are taken to a table and seated by a volunteer that takes their order for supper and their drink. Supper also includes a delicious dessert. The volunteers also do all of the cleanup, as well. The guests are asked to simply enjoy a delicious meal compliments of the hard-working kitchen staff.
The mission of the Community Kitchen was to serve as many people in need of a hot meal as possible. The community kitchen’s success is dependent upon guests attending, volunteers and donations. If you know of someone that needs a hot meal or would just prefer to not eat alone please inform them about The Shepherd’s Table or better yet bring them by and join.

The next two suppers have already been planned for September 18th and October 16th, the third Tuesday of the month, at the First Presbyterian Church Of Huntingdon.
