McKenzie, Tenn.—The Southern Fried and Sweet Tea Festival will be held Friday and Saturday, August 24 and 25 in downtown McKenzie with good food, free musical entertainment, arts and crafts vendors and a Kids’ Zone with cool games.
The event begins at 6 p.m. Friday with the Longshot Band and over 20 food and craft vendors. The Kids Zone and vendors will be on site from 6-9 p.m. Friday evening and from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday. There will be music all day Saturday by a variety of local performers.
