Paris, Tenn.—There are two new therapy dogs in the Paris Special Schools District and the kids and the dogs are loving it.
Jack Brewer, who belongs to Paris Police Captain John Brewer and Henry County Deputy Michelle Brewer, began working at Rhea Elementary this week where Michelle is the School Resource Officer. She said Jack loved his first days and has been worn out but happy at the end of the day.
Buster T. Crosser belongs to Deputy Eddie and Kristie Crosser. Buster has been working at Paris Elementary School, where Eddie is the School Resource Officer. He also has been loving his new job, so much so that Kristie said he was not happy when she came to school early to pick him up one afternoon.
Michelle Brewer said both Jack and Buster are Henry County Sheriff’s deputy therapy dogs and are not certified K9s for any other activity.
