Danville Landing, Tenn.–Multiple agencies are on the scene of a possible drowning near the Danville Landing area of Kentucky Lake this morning searching for a man who fell overboard after a boating accident Sunday night.
 
The Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency (TWRA), Benton County Sheriff’s deputies, Big Sandy Fire Department, Benton Co. Rescue Squad, Houston, Humphreys and Dickson Counties’ first responders have been at the scene all night.
 
Additionally, the Fort Campbell Fire Department brought a drone with thermal imaging to help with the search.
 
The accident occurred around 8 p.m. last night when a boat carrying from four to six people hit something in the water, causing people to fall overboard. An adult male is still reporting missing following the accident.
 
 
The Houston County 911 Office posted on Facebook this morning that the Danville Boat Ramp will be closed today.
 
The crash occurred three miles south of Danville in an area bordering Houston and Benton Counties.
