Sharon, Tenn.—A Tennessee Highway Patrol Trooper was injured in an accident near Sharon Friday afternoon while he was on a patrol motorcycle.
Trooper Clint Todd suffered serious but non-life-threatening injuries in the crash and was airlifted to Vanderbilt Medical Center. According to the Gibson Co. sheriff’s office, Todd suffered multiple injuries.
He was patrolling Highway 45 when a vehicle pulled into the path of the THP motorcycle.
Todd was reportedly ejected from the motorcycle during the accident.
The THP has not provided WENK/WTPR with the accident report as of Saturday afternoon.
