Fulton, KY– The Kentucky State Police Post 1 is conducting a death investigation at the Fulton County Dentation Center. The Mayfield KSP Post received a call at approximately 2:10 P.M.
Preliminary investigation shows, inmate Tommy W. Prather, 56 of Mayfield, started having chest pains in his cell. Jail staff responded and took Mr. Prather to their medical center where he became unresponsive, and CPR was initiated. EMS arrived on scene and transported Mr. Prather to a hospital in Union City, where he was pronounced deceased. No foul play is suspected in his death. An Autopsy has been scheduled for tomorrow.
