Huntingdon, Tenn.–Early voting results are in in Carroll County and Challenger Joseph Butler has taken a commanding lead over long-time County Mayor Kenny McBride, by a vote of 1,966-992 (65 percent to 33 percent). McBride is running this time as an Independent and Butler is a Republican.
In another contested race, Incumbent Circuit Court Clerk Bertha Taylor has a narrow win, with 1,340, compared with Sarah Bradberry with 1,304 and Tracie McCormick with 332. Taylor is a Democrat, Bradberry is Republican, and McCormick is an Independent.
