Fitzhugh Speaks At McKenzie Hospital To Protest Its Closing

McKenzie, Tenn.—State Democratic Gubernatorial Candidate Craig Fitzhugh held an impromptu rally this afternoon outside McKenzie Regional Hospital to protest its closing. Fitzhugh has made Medicaid expansion his platform and he told a crowd of about 40 people that the first thing he would do as governor would be to expand Medicaid so closure of rural hospitals does not continue. Fitzhugh was on his way from Bristol to Memphis on his last campaign stops before Election Day tomorrow. He currently represents the 82nd District in the State House of Representatives.
