Union City, Tenn.—A South Fulton driver was cited for improper passing and lack of insurance after a two-vehicle accident in Union City on Monday afternoon.
Cited was Jackie Bennett, age 73.
According to the Union City Police, Crystal Rouse, age 33, of Union City, was slowing to turn left from Nailling Drive at the Bethlehem Road intersection when Bennett attempted to pass on the left on a section of road that is marked as a no passing zone with double yellow lines.
Rouse turned left as Bennett was attempting to pass. Both vehicles were damaged.
Bennett, was cited for improper passing, and failure to show proof of insurance.
