Paris, Tenn.-A huge crowd was on hand and the weather was perfect for the annual Downtown Paris Ice Cream Social and Antique Car and Truck Show Saturday afternoon. The courthouse lawn was lined with dozens of booths with all kinds of varieties of ice cream and toppings, root beer and coke floats, deep fried oreos and more. Crazy contests were held, with Liam Henderson of Moscow, Tenn., winning the kids’ ice cream eating contest and Owen Lund winning the adult contest.Henry County Schools won Best of Show for its booth; the City of Paris won Best Theme; and TVCC won Best Ice Cream.
