Update: Murray PD: Driver Rammed SUV Into Bank Intentionally

 
 
Murray, Ky.—The driver who smashed his SUV into the front of Regions Bank in Murray Thursday afternoon did so on purpose, according to Murray Police. One person inside the bank was injured and required medical treatment.
Police arrested Dennis McCuiston, age 29, of Murray, and charged him with first degree assault and first degree criminal mischief, both of which are felony charges.
According to Sgt. Brant Shutt, the police department started receiving multiple calls that a vehicle had rammed into the bank building on South 12th St. around 3:15 p.m.
On arrival officers located McCuiston near the SUV and in speaking with him, “it was learned that the vehicle had been intentionally driven into the building.”
The person inside the bank who was injured was transported to Murray-Calloway County Hospital for treatment. The Murray PD was assisted at the scene by EMS and Murray Fire Department.
