Union City, Tenn.—Union City Police are investigating the theft of wheels and tires from a Mercedes Benz on a local car lot.
The theft occurred sometime over the weekend from Morris Truck and Trailer at 2110 W. Reelfoot Ave.
The thief or thieves sole four wheels and tires, along with a Mercedes front emblem from the hood of the vehicle. The vehicle had been jacked up, all the wheels removed and then the vehicle was dropped to the ground. According to the report, fingerprint smudges were found on the hood.
Total value of items stolen was $690.
