Nina, Pinta Replicas To Move Through Paris Landing Area Thursday Morning

 
 
Buchanan, Tenn.—Anyone who wants a chance to see the Nina and the Pinta, replicas of Columbus’ ships, will have their chance Thursday morning as they make their way through the Paris Landing area on their way to Grand Rivers, Ky.
 
The captain on the ships told WENK/WTPR that he estimates now they may be winding their way through the Paris Landing area around 11 a.m. He said he will have a better estimate tomorrow morning. The ships are going to dock at New Johnsonville tonight.
 
The ships came through the Pickwick Landing area this afternoon.
 
The Nina and Pinta will be arriving at Grand Rivers at 3 p.m. Thursday. The ships will be docked at Green Turtle Bay Resort, 263 Green Turtle Bay Drive, until their departure early Monday morning July 30.
 
The ships are open to the general public Friday, July 20, starting at 9 a.m. While in port, the general public is invited to visit the ships for a walk-aboard, self-guided tour. Admission charge $8.50 for adults, $7.50 seniors and $6.50 for students five through 16. Children four and under are free. The ships will be open every day from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. No reservations necessary.
