Paris, Tenn.—Vickey Roberts, center, shares preliminary plans for the upcoming Atkins-Porter Neighborhood Fall Festival at Tuesday night’s meeting of the A-P Neighborhood Association. The first annual event will be held Saturday, October 13, and will include numerous activities as well as a hamburger and hot dog cook-out. The event will be held at the Atkins-Porter park at the corner of Highland and Walnut Streets. More details will be presented as they are formulated. Members of the Association also discussed plans for the upcoming Downtown Paris Ice Cream Social at 4 p.m. July 28. Volunteers are always welcome for the A-P events.
