Lifeline Blood Services In Urgent Need This Week

Lifeline Blood Services is in urgent need for several blood types and there are several blood drives in our area this week.
 
Lifeline Public Relations Director Cherie Hale said, “Patients in our area hospitals have been using  large amounts of B positive and A negative, in particular this week. Please, please make sure everyone knows the vital need for summer blood donations of all types, and, now this urgent need for these types. Also in short supply are the other negative blood types, B negative, and O negative. One blood donation can save up to three lives and our community is depending on volunteer blood donors.”
 
 
Donors may give blood at these blood drives this week:
 
Wed., July 18– Paris Healthcare from 12-5 p.m.
 
Thursday, July 19 – Alamo Nursing Home, 9-12
Parsons, Decatur Co. Gen. Hospital, 12-6 p.m.
Dyersburg Elec., 12-6 p.m.
 
Fri., July 20–  Crump, TN Tech Ctr, 9-1
Fayette Co. Sheriff’s Office, Somerville, 12-5 p.m.
Battle of the Badges Blood Drive, Milan City Hall, 12-6 p.m.
 
OR at LIFELINE Blood Services, 183 Sterling Farms Drive, Jackson Mon-Fri: 9-6 and Sat: 9-1.
