Services Set For Sheriff Robby Woods

 
 
 
Funeral services have been set for Fulton County Sheriff Robby Woods. Woods, age 50, of Hickman, Ky., passed away at 8:49 p.m. Monday, July 2, at Vanderbilt Medical Center after suffering a stroke.
 
Funeral services will be conducted 3 p.m. Saturday at the First Pentecostal Church of Union City. Brother Dwayne Uzzle and Brother Billy Uzzle will officiate. Burial will follow in Hickman City Cemetery.
Visitation will be held at the First Pentecostal Church of Union City from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. Friday and from 12:00 p.m. until the hour of services Saturday.
Pallbearers will be Derek Goodson, Tony Grogan, Scott McKnight, Ryan Amberg, Allen Poole and Terry Powell.
Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Robby was born March 24, 1968, in Union City, son of Robert Wayne Woods, Sr. and Frances (Duck) Woods of Hickman, Kentucky. He married Leslie (Duncan) Woods May 8, 1999. She survives. Robby was the current sheriff of Fulton County, Kentucky. He was a graduate of the Department of Criminal Justice in Richmond, Kentucky Class #270. Robby was a active member of the First Pentecostal Church of Union City and was a friend to all people and saw the good in all people.
He is also survived by one son, Hunter Woods of Hickman, Kentucky; one sister and brother-in-law, Melanie and Sam Hartman of Hickman, Kentucky; and his in-laws, Debbie (Cooley) and Roy Eddington of Hickman, Kentucky and Ricky and Jackie Duncan of Dresden; and several nieces and nephews.
