Union City, Tenn.—A Union City woman suffered possible serious injury in a two-car accident in Union City Monday afternoon.
Karin Hansen, age 46, was transported to Baptist Memorial Hospital by EMS. No condition report is available.
The other driver, Elijah Young, age 33, of Union City, was cited for following too close.
According to the police report, Hansen was northbound on the inside lane of S. Miles and stopped for oncoming traffic attempting to make a left turn onto Oak Street. Young was behind her and said he looked down and his car rammed into the back of Hansen’s vehicle.
