Grand Rivers, Ky. – Months after a fire destroyed the popular Patti’s 1880’s Settlement Restaurant in Grand Rivers, Ky., owners have announced groundbreaking for a new restaurant will be held soon.
Ann Martin, Director of Public Relations and Marketing for Patti’s 1880’s Settlement, said the process of rebuilding is underway.
She said the restaurant’s plans are now before state officials and plans are for a groundbreaking in about six-seven weeks.
She said other areas of the settlement are still open, such as the Hamburger Patti’s, the bed and breakfast, nice shops and the ice cream parlor, where special treats will be served for the July 4 holiday.
The restaurant has been closed since the fire earlier this year, but a food truck also is on site that has been serving the public.
