Paris, Tenn.—A Paris man was arrested by the Henry County Sheriff’s Office on charges of child abuse and neglect, reckless endangerment and vandalism after he allegedly rammed another vehicle in which children were riding.
Bobby Jack Evans, age 29, of 1199 Old Union Rd., was arrested Sunday night after he allegedly drove his truck into a Jeep driven by a woman with whom he was arguing. Children were riding in the Jeep with her.
Deputies were called on a report that Evans was chasing a vehicle down the road. He told deputies the woman tried to leave the house in a Jeep with another woman and children and that he drove his vehicle into the Jeep to stop them from leaving.
