Dyersburg, Tenn.—A young Henry County man has been certified as a new officer with the Dyersburg Police Department.
Dillon Beloate of Puryear is among three officers to recently graduate and achieve status as state of Tennessee P.O.S.T. certified officers.
According to the press release from the Dyersburg Police, Beloate had the distinction of being designated as the Chaplain for his class and participated in the graduation ceremony as a speaker.
Beloate is the son of Chris and Missy Beloate of Puryear. He is a 2011 Henry Co. High School graduate and also graduated from Murray State University last year.
The other two recent graduates on the Dyersburg PD are Sharquawn Henderson, who now lives in Martin; and Danny Evans who has lived his entire life in Dyer Co.
According to the Dyersburg PD, “Officers Dillon Beloate, Sharquawn Henderson, and Danny Evans performed admirably for their department and we are proud to include them among our ranks. Welcome to the beginning of your career as a State of Tennessee P.O.S.T. certified officer with the Dyersburg Police Department”
