Union City, Tenn.—Both drivers were transported to the hospital and both of their vehicles were totaled following an accident in Union City Thursday evening.
The driver of one of the vehicles, Lauren Ferber, age 28, of Union City, was cited for failure to yield, driving without a license and driving without insurance.
According to the police report, Ferber was eastbound on East Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Drive and began crossing the intersection at N. Division St. and pulled into the path of a car driven by Stephen McGuire, age 19, of South Fulton. McGuire had the right of way.
Both Ferber and McGuire were transported to Baptist Memorial by EMS. No report on their condition was available.
