Paris, Tenn.—Paris City Street Crews were busy Thursday afternoon cleaning up downed trees, signs and debris following the severe storm that blew through the city. Some 2,500 customers of the Paris Board of Public Utilities were without power during the storm. City officials said hazards were created at several streets, including N. Poplar, N. Porter, Blythe at Highland, Washington at Ogburn and Garland Ave., but the trees and debris had been removed from roadways by later in the afternoon. (City of Paris photo).
