By Shannon McFarlin WENK/WTPR News Director
Paris, Tenn.—The Henry Co. Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help in locating prowlers who were on private property on Shell Academy Road last night. One of the prowlers may have been shot by the property owner.
Deputies were called to 285 Shell Academy Road on a report of prowlers and the resident said he believed he may have shot one. The prowler who may have been shot is described as a black male, 6 feet tall, in his 30s, wearing jeans and a black hoodie.
The other prowler was described as a white male, also in his 30s, with tattoos on his neck, wearing white t-shirt and jeans.
Deputies found a small amount of blood on the property. Deputy Wayne Fuqua and his K9 Adora tracked the suspects and a drone was used to assist, but neither were located.
If anyone has information, they are asked to call the sheriff’s office at 642 1672 or the confidential hotline at 642 0929.
