Boss Hoss Rally To Meet In Dyersburg, Not Paris, This Year

Dyersburg, Tenn.—The Mid South Motorcycle Festival and Boss Hoss National Rally that has been a popular attraction for downtown Paris for the past several years will be moved this year to Dyersburg.

Henry Co. Industrial Committee CEO David Hamilton said at Monday morning’s meeting of the County’s Tourism Development Authority he was officially notified that the Boss Hoss Rally will not be coming to Paris this year due to the demolition of the Paris Landing Inn, set for August.

Boss Hoss already has announced on Facebook that the event is set for Sept. 20-22 in Dyersburg, but has not yet released the schedule of events.

The Boss Hoss rally had become a staple of downtown Paris activities, especially the annual parade around the court square by hundreds of motorcyclists from all over the country and Canada.

Hamilton said he thought the convention center at Paris Landing might be available for other special events at the park, but he was informed the contractor in charge of the Paris Landing Inn’s demolition will be using it for storage of equipment.

Boss Hoss is located in Dyersburg.

The Paris Landing Inn will be demolished in August and replaced by a smaller, more modern facility.
