Union City, Tenn.—A Union City man is being held without bond until his arraignment Monday afternoon on a charge of aggravated assault.
Adam Melton, age 44, was arrested Friday evening by Union City Police at 1340 Hillsboro following an incident in which he is accused of attempting to push a woman under a car, shoved and hit her.
The incident began outside and continued inside the apartment. In the apartment, he reportedly shoved her to the floor, put his knee on her, threatened her with a butcher knife, and pulled her hair.
