Union City, Tenn.—A Union City woman was cited following a two-car accident Friday evening which caused serious injuries to the passenger of the other vehicle.
Candi McCloud, age 38, of Union City, was cited for failure to yield after the accident which occurred at the intersection of S. Miles Ave. and Bishop St.
A car driven by Lori Turnbow, age 49, of Union city, was traveling south on S. Miles in the outside lane and McCloud was westbound on Bishop St. McCloud was attempting to cross the intersection and pulled into the path of Turnbow’s vehicle. Both vehicles sustained significant damage and both had airbag deployments.
The passenger of Turnbow’s car, Lori Turnbow, age 49, had surgery for her injuries, according to the report.
